Preserving good health

Fruit and vegetables are a source of vitamins, minerals and fibres – all essential for ensuring good health. They have a favourable and proven effect on preventing diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity. In fact, since 2001, public authorities recommend that everyone should consume 5 a day, at least!
Carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, apples, strawberries, etc. Whether fresh, frozen, canned, raw, in soups, stewed, etc. The wide variety of products and consumption possibilities offer many different ways of eating healthily and with pleasure.
Demain la Terre’s producers and processors are committed to offering you healthier products, namely by working on reducing the use of pesticides and eliminating any trace of residues.
This being said, even though consumer health is essential, our approach aligns with the concept of “One Health” – a comprehensive way of linking human, animal and environmental health. In answer to this, we came up with a Frame of Reference encompassing 10 themes revolving around the protection of our soils, water, climate and biodiversity – with the added social issue of protecting our employees’ and members’ health at all costs!
Our other commitments
Encouraging sustainable practices
We only have one planet. Our members understand this, and have been implementing virtuous practices for many years now within their companies, aiming to reduce their environmental impact.
Making our products accessible to all
Healthy and high-quality food should not be a privilege, and should be accessible to all. We offer products at fair prices - both for producers and consumers.
Ensuring high product quality
Inspected by an independent authority, our label goes far beyond the standard regulations in force, thus guaranteeing high quality requirements - regardless of production methods.
Promoting the local economy
By committing to economic and social aspects too, our members undertake to comply with all three pillars of sustainable development. As such, they help preserve the vitality of our rural environments.
